Field of Hope Fellows Volunteer at Gem Village

The Gem Foundation had the honor of receiving three Field of Hope Fellows to spend a few days with us on the farm. The Fellows spent one whole day working alongside our Gem farmers, getting a first hand look at all they do. The Fellows helped in milking the cows and goats, vaccinating the chickens, tagging our new pigs and goats, and feeding the animals.

They were also able to lead a farm devotion sharing the importance of faith in God and how we need to lay a good foundation for our faith to grow into a strong mustard tree! The Fellows ended their time encouraging the farm staff and gave them ideas on how to further incorporate the Gems into the farm activities. We are so grateful for the opportunity to receive these three Fellows and for all they sowed into The Gem Foundation.
